65 league games, whereas sterling has played 68?

Re: Raheem Sterling
City did seem ponderous and slow at times last season - Sterling will clearly help with that.
Still think they need more to win the league - their defence was poor, toure looks to be unhappy and they rely on aguero and silva.

so many good players out there and they go and buy Mangala, Fernando and Lampard. First thing they should do is get Negredo back.

Re: Raheem Sterling
All about opinions init.

Loads think he's the bollocks and there's us o nthe other side of the fence who think you could get a much better player for that sort of money, who also has a better character (not that all paper talk can be believed).

Definitely better than Navas and at least in City's manager, he has someone who seems to not want to change his team every single game and so he'll get a proper run at it.

With Rodwell and Sinclair, they are simply average players and were crazy to ever go there.

Re: Raheem Sterling
Sterling will be an important player for city for years.

Navas has 65 appearances for city over the last 2 years, sterling is much better

where he *tries to resurrect his career.

Re: Raheem Sterling
just because the game is all about money these days doesn't make it right.

successful agent yes, made a fortune from this deal and can probably retire.

meanwhile Sterling rots in the City reserve time like pretty much every other young English talent they've bought and leaves for Stoke City in 2/3 years time for a nominal fee where he tried to resurrect his career.

Yes it's a successful move in terms of money but a terrible move if he has any actually footballing ambition (which clearly isn't a priority for him OR his agent).

Rossal 3:25 Mon Jul 13
Re: Raheem Sterling
If he gets back to his best then good deal for City

Massive oversight into the fact that Liverpool getting £45 mil up front with £9 mil of that going to QPR so they are only getting £36 mil

Also strange he is choosing City, seem to be on the way down rather than up at the moment

Shit agent getting his clients wages quadrupled and a huge move to one of the biggest teams in the world.

Shit shit shit

Re: Raheem Sterling

His agent has just got him a deal that could be worth up to £100m over the length of his contract. I'd say he's done a pretty good job for him.
